  • Account information: name, username, email, password hash, profile image, role, organization, and account preferences.
  • Workspace content: projects, music and media files, credits, messages, comments, tasks, calendars, contracts, signatures, campaign data, and information you choose to share with collaborators.
  • Commerce information: orders, subscriptions, transaction status, billing contact details, and payment-provider references. Payment providers process full payment-card details.

  • Connected-service information: information you authorize services such as Google, Meta, X, Shopify, or other integrations to provide.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • provide, personalize, maintain, and secure the Services;
  • authenticate users and manage invitations, permissions, and account recovery;
  • support collaboration, contracts, commerce, campaigns, and connected integrations;
  • process transactions and deliver administrative and service communications;
  • detect fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical problems;
  • understand and improve performance and features; and
  • comply with law and enforce our agreements.

Legal bases for processing

Where the GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar law applies, we process information as necessary to perform our contract with you, based on our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Services, with your consent where consent is required, and to comply with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.

How we share information

We may share information:

  • with people and organizations you invite to a workspace or transaction;
  • with vendors that provide hosting, storage, email, payments, security, support, and other infrastructure under appropriate contractual protections;
  • with connected third-party services when you request or authorize the connection; and
  • as otherwise described in the sections below.

We do not sell personal information for money or use Vizion for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Law, safety, and the public interest

We may preserve, use, or disclose personal information when we reasonably believe it is necessary to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or a valid government request; protect the safety of any person; protect the security or integrity of the Services; prevent or address fraud, spam, abuse, malicious activity, or security or technical problems; enforce our agreements; or protect our rights or property or the rights or property of people who use the Services. Nothing in this policy is intended to limit legal defenses or objections that may be available in response to a third party's request for personal information.

Affiliates and changes of ownership

We may disclose personal information to corporate affiliates where necessary to operate, secure, support, or improve the Services, subject to appropriate protections. If Vizion is involved in a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar transaction, personal information may be disclosed or transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice and obtain consent when required by applicable law, and personal information will remain subject to this policy unless you are notified otherwise.

Aggregated and de-identified information

We may use and disclose information that has been aggregated or de-identified so that it is not reasonably capable of identifying you. For example, this may include statistics about feature use, service performance, or engagement. We maintain de-identified information in de-identified form and do not attempt to re-identify it except as permitted by law to test whether our de-identification processes are effective.

Cookies and similar technologies

Vizion uses necessary browser storage for authentication, security, session state, and remembering that you have seen our cookie notice. Google Maps and Google Identity load only when you open or select a feature that uses them. We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies in Vizion. See our Cookie Notice for details.

Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain legitimate business and legal records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. Retention depends on the information and why it is processed. When no longer needed, information is deleted or de-identified. Backup copies may persist for a limited period before cycling out.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is completely secure, so you should use a unique password and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.

International transfers

Vizion is based in the United States, and information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. Where required, we use recognized transfer safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information; object to or restrict processing; withdraw consent; and appeal or complain to a regulator. You may also have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising a privacy right. We may verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. Higher age thresholds or parental-consent requirements may apply under local law. You may not misrepresent your age. If we learn that a child under the applicable minimum age provided personal information without required authorization, we will take appropriate steps to delete the information and restrict or terminate the account. Contact us if you believe a child provided information contrary to this policy.

Changes to this policy

We may revise this policy from time to time. The current version will remain available on this page, and we will update the effective date when it changes. If a change materially affects how we handle personal information, we will provide additional notice, such as through the Services or by email. We will obtain consent before applying a change when required by law.
